Body of Christ, RISE UP! The devil is a liar!! He markets his way of death as glamorous, sophisticated, fun, cool, or exciting. (It's not a way of life because the process and the result are death.)

If you die this way, people will think you're cool. 

If you partake of this death-style, you're really hip and "edgy". 

If you want to be accepted you should die like this.

It's all marketing and zero truth. The enemy attacks our self-worth and wants to get us focused on how we compare to the world's standard. When you're in Christ, you don't have to measure up, you SET the standard. Start saturating yourself in the word and find out what the truth of the matter is.

The truth is, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. That's what makes you cool.
The truth is, the sharpest "edge" you'll find anywhere is God's word. Get radical about applying what it says to your everyday life and you will be "bleeding edge", baby!
The truth is, you are ALREADY accepted in Christ.

See yourself as God sees you. He sees you as a world-shaper, not one shaped by the world. Being a world-shaper requires focused effort. It won't happen by accident. Go deep with God. Spend time in His presence. Read His word. Listen to His Spirit.

Break out of old habits. You don't have to talk that way. You don't have to drink that. You don't have to watch that. You don't have to eat that. You don't have to be that way. YOU ARE FREE. Christ died and set you free. Believe it and walk in it.
