Righteousness exalts
Sin is a nation's disgrace
God blesses nations
-Proverbs 14:34, Psalm 33:12

Our nation is getting ready for a national election. Every election year is important. Every election year we hear about praying for revival. Yesterday during a prayer session it came to me that many people may not recognize the significance or the benefit of having godly political leadership. We have been trained for decades that those two things should be kept entirely separate. We have been told that political leadership is a completely secular affair, and that spiritual matters should be kept out of it. (Kept out of everything if some had their way.)

I encourage you to pray for your nation, pray for yourself and pray seriously, if you live in the United States, about whom to vote for in November. When you believe the Bible, you know certain things will happen eventually. But we are still told to pray for our leadership, to pray that we live peaceable lives in all godliness and dignity.

If you feel that godliness and dignity have been lacking in our nation - PRAY! And let your spirit be led by GOD, (not your neighbor, your church, your race, your family, your traditions) on who should receive your vote.

AMEN! So let it be. I pray righteousness will be exalted in our nation - in all nations. Jesus is Lord and may He be lord in the lives of everyone who reads this.
